Honda Nx 650 1994
This build was an “in-house” build, for one of our member, Pulyka. It took about 6 months from the teardown to finish. The idea was to have a bike as trustworthy as it gets and we couldn’t think of a better donor than a Dominator. It was in okay condition but it was tore done completely, measured and rebuilt with everything replaced that had a slight wear. Wanted to have double headlight and some carbon. That was the basic idea of the built. Everything took shape during the building, it was kind of “freestyle”.
Engine got a total rebuilt, many parts got replaced, piston and cylinder, all bearing, new oil pump, new chain and some sprockets, main shaft, cylinder head, rockers, etc… Everything got repainted and the covers are polished.
Custom stainless steel exhaust system, with a supertrapp on the end.
Original tank with redesigned plastic covers on the side.
The seat base got cut and redesigned and got some super comfy gel inserts. One side has the owner’s favourite bmx trail and the other side has his favourite surf spot stitched into the leather.
Custom metal luggage rack at the back, for a backpack, or BMX sometimes
Side covers, rear fender, cockpit and sprocket guard are handmade of actual carbon fiber, not that it saves much weight 🙂
Daytona gauges, Motogadget turn signals and mirrors, Renthal handlebar,
XR250 Baja headlight was refurbished and set on the bike
Electric system got rewired at the upper parts
Kawasaki KLX front mudguard
Front fork got new springs and bearings
Goodridge brake lines, front and back
Brand new YSS rear dumper
All bearings in the frame and wheels got new bearings and seals.
ASV levers on both sides, custom fit to the master cylinder and to the choke.
Every screw of the bike got freshly galvanised and every black part got fresh powder coat .
